Ini Edo as Tulips
It was the movie Thick Madam that first launched Ini Edo into the motion picture industry in 2003. Since then, Edo has featured in many movies produced in Nigeria’s “Nollywood.”
Pretty, young and highly talented, the 23-year old Theatre Arts undergraduate of the University of Uyo nurtured her acting career as a dramatist in her church. Today, Edo is one of the most sought after actresses in Nigeria.
The most memorable role for this successful African star was the role of Uli in the movie Worlds Apart, a challenge she handled with a lot of confidence. As a result she has earned a comfortable spot in the film industry. Ini desires to take her talent to an even more meaningful level and hence her involvement in Tulips. For her it is an opportunity to give back to the society that brought her into the limelight at a tender age.
